Orasure Healthcare is India's first multi-clinic pre-fixed benefit dental wellness network — uniting independent dental clinics under one brand, one rate card, and one patient distribution platform to collectively compete with corporate dental chains on equal footing.
We are building India's largest independent dental clinic network. By bringing individual clinics together under the Orasure umbrella, we create a Virtual Dental Chain — where every paneled clinic benefits from shared marketing, a growing patient membership base, standardised pricing, and the collective strength of a network without giving up clinical independence or ownership.
Independent dental clinics face three simultaneous challenges that Orasure directly addresses. First, corporate dental chains spend heavily on marketing and offer campaigns — making it difficult for solo practitioners to compete on visibility or pricing. Second, there is no standardised minimum rate card across independent clinics — leading to unhealthy price competition among dentists that undermines the profession's value. Third, patients with limited budgets choose cheaper or partial treatments — leaving dentists unable to provide the right clinical care even when they recommend it. Orasure solves all three simultaneously.
By uniting clinics under one platform and one rate card, Orasure does three things for your practice. We market all paneled clinics collectively — giving every independent clinic the brand reach of a dental chain without the corporate overhead. We send you pre-committed patients who have already purchased a plan and arrive ready to receive treatment — eliminating the price negotiation that erodes clinical authority. And we standardise minimum treatment rates across the network — ending the race to the bottom that forces dentists to undercharge for their expertise.
Standardisation means every Orasure paneled clinic follows the same minimum treatment rate card — called the Orasure Tariff Rate. No paneled clinic charges below this benchmark for treatments covered under Orasure plans. This protects every dentist in the network. When a minimum rate is set and followed collectively, there is no incentive for any clinic to undercut the next one to attract patients. Your expertise is valued consistently — not eroded by a neighbour charging less. Standardisation is the foundation of professional ethics and the reason Orasure patients trust the network.
Joining the Orasure network gives your independent clinic five advantages it cannot create alone. One — collective marketing. Orasure promotes all paneled clinics together through offers, campaigns, and the patient-facing platform. You benefit from network-level marketing without spending on it individually. Two — guaranteed patient flow. Active Orasure members in your area are directed to paneled clinics near them. Three — pre-committed patients. Every patient who visits via Orasure has already paid for a plan — they arrive with intent to get treated, not to compare prices. Four — offer marketplace. Orasure generates time-limited treatment offers that you can opt into and out of freely — filling empty chair time without managing your own marketing campaigns. Five — professional rate protection. The standardised tariff rate ensures you are never pressured to undercharge.
Orasure offers three products to patients that generate clinic visits for you. Dental Health Plans — Annual plans covering a defined set of treatments at pre-fixed discounted rates covering individuals, couples, children, and blue-collar workers. Patients with these plans visit your clinic for their covered treatments using treatment coupons from their virtual card. Membership Plans — Preventive-focused plans covering routine checkups and scaling with an additional discount of 5%, 10%, or 20% on all treatments depending on the membership tier. These patients visit regularly for preventive care and pay discounted rates for any additional treatment they need.
Registration is simple and takes under five minutes. Visit the clinic registration section on orasurehealthcare.com, click Register, and fill in your clinic details — name, location, specialties, years of experience, and bank account information for settlements. Our team will verify your details and activate your clinic profile within 48 hours. Once live, your clinic is visible to Orasure members searching for paneled clinics near them.
It is entirely your choice — but it is also your opportunity. If you encounter a patient who cannot afford their required treatments at your standard clinic rates, you may recommend an Orasure plan that covers their specific needs. Recommending Orasure plans to your own patients is also the fastest way to build a loyal, recurring patient base because plan members are required to return to a paneled clinic every six months for their mandatory checkup.
No. As a paneled clinic partner you are committed to providing all treatments listed under a patient's active plan for the duration of your panel contract. Refusing an Orasure patient for any covered treatment is a violation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed at the time of empanelment. If a genuine clinical reason exists for not performing a specific treatment — such as a medical contraindication — document it professionally and inform the patient to contact Orasure support.
Yes — and this is an important clinical and commercial opportunity. If your clinical assessment recommends a superior treatment option over what is covered in the patient's plan — for example composite restoration instead of the GIC restoration covered under their plan — you may suggest it. You cannot force the patient to accept the upgrade. However if the patient agrees, the differential amount between the Orasure tariff rate for the covered treatment and the cost of the upgraded treatment is collected directly from the patient separately. Orasure settles only the tariff rate for the covered treatment as per the plan.
First verify whether the patient's plan is still within its active tenure. If it is, the patient continues to benefit from free consultation and X-rays for the remaining plan period regardless of exhausted units. For the exhausted treatment, you have two options to offer the patient. They may pay your standard clinic charges directly — their active plan entitles them to an additional 10% discount on all such treatments. Alternatively you may suggest they purchase a top-up plan or a relevant single-treatment offer from the Orasure offer marketplace if one is currently available for that treatment. Always check the patient's virtual card to confirm which units remain before beginning any treatment.
A ticket is a digital treatment coupon generated by the patient from their virtual card at the time of their visit. It specifies which treatments are being availed, the applicable Orasure discount, and the out-of-pocket amount the patient pays directly to your clinic. Once the patient shares the ticket with you — via QR code scan — it is recorded in your clinic dashboard. You then claim the ticket from your account by pressing the Claim icon and Orasure settles the corresponding balance directly into your registered bank account within the defined payment cycle.
After completing treatment, you are required to update the patient's digital record in your clinic dashboard. This record includes your clinic name, work done notes, the treatment provided, date of visit and the invoice. The patient can access their complete dental record anytime from their Orasure account — across all paneled clinics they have visited. This creates continuity of care across the network and eliminates the problem of patients arriving at a new clinic with no treatment history.
Payment is straightforward and happens in two parts. At the time of treatment, the patient's Orasure plan discount is applied to the treatment cost. The patient pays you the remaining out-of-pocket balance directly — in cash, UPI, or card — before leaving the clinic. You do not wait for any reimbursement for the OOP portion. It is collected by you immediately. Orasure then settles the discounted balance for the service provided — the portion covered under the patient's plan — directly into your bank account within the defined settlement cycle.
Once the patient's ticket is claimed from your clinic dashboard, Orasure processes the settlement of the discounted treatment amount directly into your registered bank account. Our target settlement cycle is within 7 days of the ticket being claimed. In exceptional operational circumstances during the early phase, settlement may take up to 14 days — but never beyond that. As the network scales, our target is to reduce settlement to 48 hours for high-volume paneled clinics.
The Orasure Tariff Rate is the standardised minimum rate set by Orasure for every treatment covered under our dental health plans. It is the rate at which Orasure settles payment with your clinic for each treatment redeemed by a plan member. The tariff rate is designed to reflect fair market value for each procedure — significantly higher than CGHS or ECHS government panel rates — while remaining structured and consistent across all paneled clinics in the network. Every clinic signs a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to honor the tariff rate for covered treatments. The tariff rate is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect market changes.
No. Joining the Orasure panel as a clinic partner is completely free. There is no listing fee, no joining fee, and no commission charged per treatment. Your only commitment is to honor the Orasure tariff rate for covered treatments and maintain the quality standards outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding.
If a patient raises a concern about charges, treatment, or any aspect of their visit, direct them to contact Orasure support. Do not engage in disputes directly with the patient regarding plan coverage or payment amounts — Orasure handles all plan-related queries and escalations. For clinical complaints or concerns about treatment quality, follow your standard professional protocols. Orasure will mediate and resolve financial disputes within a defined resolution timeline.
